Hi-Tech Gateway’s validation of software applications is comprised of five functions that must be performed collectively to assure the implementation of quality software. They include:
Some of all of these functions will be performed by the validation team several times during implementation. These functions while performed primarily by the validation team are also supported by our validation board that participates at various stages of the project to assure the objectivity, accuracy and completeness of the validation effort. Our validation board members provide a cross-functional representation of Hi-Tech, possessing pertinent skills to be the implementation of the software application.
Requirement validation ensures captured requirements reflect the functionality desired by the customer and other stakeholders. Although requirement validation is not the focus of requirement testability analysis, it is supported. Requirement validation involves an engineer, user or customer judging the validity (i.e. correctness) of each requirement. Models provide a means for stakeholders to precisely understand the requirements and assist in recognizing omissions. Test automatically derived from the model support requirement validation through manual inspection or execution within simulation or host environments.
